Put God incharge of your Work!

Proverbs chap 16:3 (KJV) ”Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

The Lord reminded me this morning to commit my work unto the Lord. I read the same verse in the message translation.

Proverbs chap 16:3 (MSG) Put God in charge of your work, then what you’ve planned will take place.

I realize this work here can be anything important to us. Whichever place the Lord has placed you, there is a work that needs to be carried out.

It can be a business of your own. You are trying to make ends meet, and you might face challenges in one way or another.

You may be an employee today and be facing a challenge to complete a specific project given to you.

There may be a certain delay in completing your project at the workplace.

Or it may be some start-ups that you keep trying to start something. It fails. You start something. It fails again. You get mocked by your loved ones as you cannot provide for the family. You may feel it is the same cycle over and over again.

2nd Corinthians chap 12:9a (NIV); But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

Your weakness today might be a huge struggle for you. You may feel it is tough. It is challenging. You may not have the resources needed. You may not have the sufficient skills to carry them out. You may feel very alone in a particular journey you are going through. You may not even have the time you need to complete them.

But the Good Lord reminded me today that His grace is sufficient.

That area where you are struggling today will be a testimony as it is a platform for the Lord to reveal His Glory.

Have you all been in a situation where you are trying so hard to do or complete something but are facing a struggle in one way or another?

There have been delays in every area of your life, and you wonder what went wrong. You may have lost yourself all these years of trying to achieve something beyond your human capabilities. Inferiority and insecurity crept in. The devil has been planting all kinds of unnecessary thoughts in your mind that you find it so difficult to move forward in life.

Sometimes, the best is coming back to the Lord. Setting apart time to read the Bible and go into a time of total surrender unto the Lord. When we talk about surrender, we come to a point of giving the situation to the Lord. We stop making plans and timelines on our own.

Dear readers, I encourage you to meditate upon this verse.

Psalm 37:5 (NLT) ” Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you.”

Every day is a gift from the Lord. We must be excited to put God in charge of our work. Working on our strengths may tire us and make us to be frustrated in life. As a result, we see others going ahead of us. Subconsciously, we created a victim mindset. This is definitely not from God.

Most importantly, we do not compare with others but value what God has given us as a gift. Recognize the plans of God in everything we do. He will not leave us, nor will He forsake us.

There is power when we learn to submit our work unto the Lord. When we learn to submit unto the Lord, there will be little murmuring and complaining, and more work will be done. The devil wants us to focus on our weaknesses. The Lord wants us to focus on His grace.

Moving ahead in the following months of 2024, let us learn to commit unto the Lord our work. We spend most of our time at the workplace. Let the Good Lord take care of any workplace projects, assignments, or needs. We submit unto the Lord.

Living the let-go life is the best life anyone can live. This life helps us understand that the Lord controls our lives. We stop doing things according to our own plans. We don’t struggle to make a living. His grace is sufficient.

Say this today: ”Abba, thank you for being in charge of my work.”-R.J.JOHN

Prayer for today: ”Abba, I thank you, Lord, you are faithful. You are good always. I commit my readers unto your hands. You know their works. The needs and the struggles of each of them. I pray Lord there will be testimonies in the remaining months of this year as we all learn to commit every detail of our life unto your hands O God.”Amen
