Have you all had projects that you aren’t sure of what is your next step? And when you are not sure, you do everything else except touch on your project. Have you? I have.

I was given a huge project to complete. From the very beginning, I wasn’t confident, and I had fear and anxiety to complete them. I just couldn’t see myself completing the journey. From days to weeks, and now months I have been delaying it. I was procrastinating on the project. I felt lost and just didn’t know where to start. Today, as I forced myself to try to touch the project again, I heard a small still voice in me.”Take small steps. One day at a time.”
I knew the Holy Spirit was reminding me to complete what He has started in me. He started reminding me, that the project was not about me, but to fulfill his destiny in me. I recalled the story of Moses when God called Moses to lead the Jews out of slavery in Egypt and led them to the Holy Land that God has promised them.
When God called Moses, Moses immediately told God that he is not the right person to complete the task given to him. Moses immediately told God that he stammers.
Exodus chap 4: 10 (NIV) ”Moses said to the Lord,” Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past not since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
To see God’s response to Moses was beautiful.
Exodus chap 4: 12 (NIV) ”Now go, I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
Many times we tend to forget it is the Lord God who handpicks us. When the Lord handpicks you to do a certain job, always remember it is not by your own wisdom or strength, but it is the Lord who will help us speak or teach us.
I remember clearly when I was given the project, I wanted to quit and was grumbling to God telling him, I can never complete it. I am not good in this field. But when I was reflecting on the story of how God chose Moses and God himself will help Moses speak and teach what to say, I realise what matters most in every journey God has called is simply obedience.
When you obey the call, He leads. He perfects your weakness. He sends angels to help you complete the project. God has gone before you to complete what has been started in you.
Deuteronomy chap 31:8 (NIV) ”The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
I believe nobody can work anything if you are in a state of discouragement. Just move forward. Take one step at a time. Trust God’s timing. Trust the process.
John chap 14:26 ( NIV) ”But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
Don’t do the project alone. It will be a very tiring journey. Invite the Holy Spirit to be your partner and watch the wisdom, speed, and the result of the Holy Spirit in your project.
Say this today: ”I thank you Lord for the gift of the Holy Spirit in me to complete what is started in me.”-R.J.JOHN
Prayer for today: ”Abba, I would like to invite the Holy Spirit to be in me as I complete this project. I thank you, Lord I am not alone. I also pray for my readers who are in the middle of different projects, as they invite you in their project, I pray for ease in their project.” Amen.
